Area & Global Studies Certificates

Choose from nine area studies programs.

Prepare for an international career with one of nine graduate certificate programs at Pitt’s University Center for International Studies. Here you’ll combine foreign language training, multidisciplinary courses, and community outreach for a deeper understanding of specific regions across the globe.   

Most earn a certificate with their master degree within two years. Each certificate program has unique application and credit requirements.
