Academic
Year 2008-2009
Depending
on an individual's lifestyle, a student will require
a moderate budget to cover the cost of living in Pittsburgh.
By budgeting carefully, a single student should expect
to have a monthly income of at least $1,000, excluding
tuition and medical insurance, to live modestly. Married
international students may have additional expenses
and should consider the ineligibility of the spouse
to accept employment in the United States.
The items
in the budget below are based on combined totals for
the Fall and Spring terms.
