GSPIA seeks to recognize those alumni who, through professional accomplishment, personal experience, volunteer service or other actions, best reflect the mission of the school and who serve as role models for future generations of GSPIAns.

Alumni, faculty, staff, students, or friends of GSPIA may nominate an alumna/alumnus using our online nomination form.

Distinguished Alumnus/na Award

The Distinguished Alumnus/a is GSPIA’s most prestigious award. It recognizes individuals whose outstanding professional accomplishments bring honor to the school and make them inspired role models for our students. Only a select few of the 7,000 GSPIA graduates worldwide have received the designation.

International Public Service Award

The International Public Service Award is bestowed upon alumni of the Graduate School of Public and International Affairs who, through sustained contributions in public service, demonstrate a commitment to building a better world.

4 Under 40

The 4 Under 40 Award recognizes four GSPIA alumni aged forty years or less who, through professional accomplishments and public service, have demonstrated the potential to become leaders in their chosen area of public and international affairs.
