“Competency and Confidence in Leadership, Wisdom from a 41-year Career in Service”

The Frances Hesselbein Leadership Forum presents "Competency and Confidence in Leadership, Wisdom from a 41-year Career in Service" as its annual lecture. This year's featured speaker is Lloyd J. Austin III, General, U.S. Army (Retired), 12th Commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) and former Vice Chief of Staff of the United States Army. 

In this distinctive keynote, Lloyd J. Austin III, General, U.S. Army (Retired), who oversaw the U.S. military presence in 20 countries in the Middle East, Central Asia, and Southeast Asia, will share global insights into his values-based leadership philosophy, including teamwork and the importance of respecting all people.

The event will be held from 3:30-5 p.m. Sept. 21 at the ALCOA Room, Second Floor, Barco Law Building 3900 Forbes Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15260.
