Employment Opportunities
If you're in a career transition or merely interested in knowing what employment opportunities are available in the marketplace, register on GSPIAConnections. Connections is a proprietary online career management system for GSPIA students and alumni; internship and employment opportunities are posted daily.
Registration is easy:
- www.gspia.pitt.edu
- Click on GSPIAConnections, located in the lower left-hand corner of the homepage
- Click on "Students and Alumni seeking employment"
- Complete the "Profile" that follows the Expectations Agreement for students
- Submit for approval
Since its debut in 2006, Connections has posted more than 3,000 internship and employment announcements and has registered more than 1,000 employers.
Career Counseling
If you want to update your resume, discuss a new career direction, or your job search strategy, individualized career counseling is available via email, phone, or in person. For more information, contact Betty Berkely at eab31@pitt.edu, 412-648-7639.
Internship or Employment Postings
If you have an internship or employment announcement to share, post it directly to GSPIAConnections. Posting is easy. Go to GSPIA's home page, click on GSPIAConnections, then click "Employers." Check to see if your organization is registered. If not, complete the required information and post the opportunity.
