Acknowledging GSPIA's Interim Dean

It is with great appreciation that we recognize the leadership of Interim Dean David Y. Miller, who served as Dean from August 2006 to July 2007. Miller was appointed Associate Dean of GSPIA in 1998, and now resumes his role as Associate Dean and will continue his faculty appointment as a professor in public and urban affairs.
Miller’s astute leadership and extensive knowledge of academia, public service, and the local community have guided GSPIA through an important transition period. A GSPIA alumnus (PhD ’88), he is familiar with the mission of the school, and has helped to enrich the curriculum and advance GSPIA’s vision of social responsibility and citizenship.
