Professor Martin Staniland publishes new book
 Martin Staniland, Professor of International Affairs and Director of the International Affairs Division, has published A Europe of the Air?: The Airline Industry and European Integration (Rowman and Littlefield, 2008) . The book is the first full examination of the European Union's development of air transport policy, and details years of regulatory change and airline strategizing. Staniland also explores the political backdrop that helped influence the European airline industry. A Europe of the Air is being called "an invaluable case study in industrial policy."
