GSPIA faculty member to be featured on KQV Radio speaking about children and armed conflict.
Pittsburgh - Dr. Charli Carpenter was featured on KQV radio speaking about children born of war as part of the World Affairs Council's weekly radio show, "Global Press Conference." Dr. Carpenter was aired on Radio AM 1410 on Friday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, March 17, at 8:30 p.m., and Sunday, March 18, at 10:30 a.m.
Dr. Carpenter is the author of Innocent Women and Children: Gender, Norms and the Protection of Civilians published by Ashgate Press. Her research areas include humanitarian action, gender, human security, rules of war, international organizations, and transnational advocacy networks.
