In March
2007, Harvey L. White will be installed as the next
President of the American Society of
Public Administration (ASPA). The ceremony will take
place at ASPA's 67th annual conference in Washington,
DC.
White
is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of
Public and International Affairs, where he teaches
courses in Homeland Security and Disaster Preparedness;
People-Centered Development; and Sustainable Development
in Africa. In 2007, White will introduce a new course,
Community-Based Participatory Research. His areas
of teaching and research interest also include financial
administration, quantitative methods, urban administration,
American government, intergovernmental relations,
environmental management, and developmental administration.
