Charli Carpenter's "Humanitarianism in World Politics" and "Rules of War"
Selected for Upcoming Teaching Resources Publication
Peace, Justice, and Security Studies is a curriculum guide compiling a select number of syllabi for schools to use as they build new programs in peace and security studies. The forthcoming seventh edition will feature Charli Carpenter's syllabi for her courses "Humanitarianism in World Politics" and "Rules of War."
The editors of the book received over 200 qualified entries and selected only 75 for publication. Peace, Justice, and Security Studies spans 15 different teaching and research areas, including religious sources to conflict; conflict transformation; globalization; violence, terrorism, and war; and many others. Submissions were received from a wide array of leading scholars and researchers around the world, and Carpenter's two syllabi will add to the level of expertise and innovations in the field.
