We are pleased to welcome Carla Koppell to GSPIA to share insight from her work and leadership on diversity and inclusion in public and international affairs curriculum.

Through her work with the Georgetown Institute for Women, Peace and Security (GIWPS), she convenes the University Leadership Council on Diversity and Inclusion in International Affairs, which links academic leaders in public and international affairs schools to share strategies for fostering attention to diversity, equity, and inclusion in their institutions. GIWPS has produced extensive library of resources and tools for engaging with DEI issues in schools and classrooms, including research summaries, syllabus resources, and tools for institutional change.

As GSPIA continues its work on planning for inclusive curricula, this presentation will offer both inspiration and practical insights about how to make fundamental changes to how we design, deliver, andevaluate curricula and teaching with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
